FYI - I finished the scans and sent them to Pinball Pimp. I have them out on Dropbox if we need to go to plan B with decals from Spooky. I took it all apart to scan, but I'll reassemble for shipping. It actually folds which I never knew! I've already emailed NAVL to schedule the pickup.

Ok - plan A is out - Pinball Pimp says there is way too much detail to do with a stencil. So decals it is! Do we want to try and make the ones you have work or send the scans to Spooky and let him generate some new ones (for a price of course).

Fyi - it looks like Mr Pinball in Aus sells a decal set that says the dimensions are correct

All you'll need to do to remove the existing paint is blow gently. I put some blue tape on when I was scanning and a bunch came off when I removed the tape!

So, interestingly the BR backbox folds - I had never tried it before. But it's a little kludgey - I would recommend removing the main glass before folding it up. The point where the upper playfield glass and normal playfield glass meet is kind of goofy. The two bolts that lock the head in place are inside the coin door along with beer, new ramp and an NVRAM chip.

Haha - it's going to be a fun one - I'm betting a two fold increase in colorful language!

They are - Banzai was the first test for diamond plate on just a few games

There was a code under the apron - "XR-7" that they put on the diamond plate versions

Can't remember if I cleaned that off on mine or left it - it was written in sharpie

CPR is actually going to run the lower playfield as most of the non-diamond plate versions are really torn up. But I like the idea of the original playfields

System 11B starting with Big Guns eliminated the keep warm resistor and moved all the voltage drop resistors to a single board. That single board is in the bottom of the cabinet on the first 3 games and then is the interconnect board on the head for the rest of the games. There is still an LED flasher issue with these games. If you put in LED flashbulbs you'll notice that the bulbs on circuits 3, 4, 6 and 7 will blink a little when you hit the flippers. To fix this remove Diodes D3, D4 , D6 and D7 from the aux driver board, then add diodes to the coils at solenoids 3,4,6 and 7.

Probably just the metal piece - the plastic channels aren't really visible - the bottom one slides into the metal piece, the top one you don't see.

So, I know you aren't going to believe this - but the displays on BR were unique to BR. Pinscore sells a drop in replacement but I wouldn't be interested unless you can change the color. I think the one that's in it is Ok if no color change is available

The older doors just have a more balanced look - the newer doors have everything shifted to one side to accommodate DBVs

Notes on your game: the backbox lock down bolts are partially threaded into the backbox - REMOVE them before you fold the head back. I left the subwoofer adapter/cable installed - the cable exits the power cord cup (one screw removed to allow room - it's in the coin box). Both are reversible if you don't want an external sub - but try it first! Key is zip tied to shooter, manual and a few Aurich stickers (and original apron stickers) are on top of glass. Cert is taped to backglass.

And on mine, there is a sweet playfield in a crate underneath.

The funhouse is in great shape though - i should be able to sell the original playfield for a few bucks. I anticipate much less griping on this one. 😆
